$25000 damage in Burlington townhouse fire

No injuries were reported in a fire at a townhouse complex this morning.

Burlington firefighters were called to 3000 Driftwood Dr., off Guelph Line south of Dundas Street, around 8 a.m. for a fire in a townhouse unit.

Burlington fire officials said two people escaped the unit unharmed.

The blaze, believed to have started in a bathroom exhaust fan, spread to the home’s attic but not the roof.

The damage estimate is $25,000.
