Which Kinds Of Ropes Are Safe For Pet Rats?

Which kinds of ropes are safe for pet rats? I want to make a toy for them by using lots of rope twisted together that will hang in their cage that they can play on… kind of like a really big twisty rope toy for dogs, opposed to buying one in the store.

any really, but if it starts eating it or trying to take it away. my rats have a few bird toys that are mostly rope and a dog rope toy

Any rope as long as is it isn’t being seriously chewed. I know they sell HUGE dog rope toys at petsmart and those would be ok to use 🙂 Also if you have fleece you can just braid that together to make a rope.
