The girls are starting on doxycycline and I wanted to know if I could mix it with hershey's chocolate syrup. They are chocolate crazy!

Cathie, we put our meds in whatever they will eat. If that's how you think they will take it then you can try it. I don't think there's any food precautions with doxy. Well you can put it in chocolate milk, so why not Hershey's chocolate syrup? The link below even tells you how to do it.

My breeder is the one who got me the meds. She told me how to mix it with strawberry syrup but the girls like chocolate a lot more.

Hehe, Ginger won't take her meds unless I put them in baby food, so I'm sure the chocolate syrup would be okay- as long as the med's end up in their tummy!
