Snow, snow, snow!

We got hit with a snow blizzard last night. Though it didn't start snowing until 9:30pm up in Feasterville, PA. The snow totals are in... Philadelphia got 28 inches of snow!

Wow Sarah you guys did get dumped on. lol I love the pics of Tanzi enjoying the snow...from the comfort of her window seat.

Isn't her window seat funny? Tansy is a wider cat, than Popcorn was, so my dad took an old recliner chair's footrest and screwed it into the window, so she has her own seat.

And I missed the first blizzard this year back in Dec, which was I think 23 inches? This is the 2nd biggest snowstorm since 1996 in Philadelphia, when we got 30 some inches.

Oh Sarah, how do you function in that deep snow? Your kitty is certainly enjoying her very nice window seat! Be safe I hope you have all your utilities!

hehe Sarah, I would have never know it was part of a recliner until you told me. I thought it was one of those ones you buy. Your father sure is creative!

hehehe, the window ledge was just too narrow for Tansy, and he was getting rid of the chair (it was broken) so he got the idea to do that.

Thanks Phyllis, yes we have all our utilities, and I have a little heater in my room to warm things up. The hard part is going to be cleaning the car off tomorrow, and then going to work on Monday. I may go in 1-2 hours late if the roads are slick, it's usually dark when I leave, so I may leave an hour late to play it safe since the sun will be up by then.

We may get hit with another 2ft of snow starting tomorrow night into Wednesday! This is the worst winter yet. We already had 2 record breaking blizzards in Philadelphia this winter.

No snow here yet...well there's this little tiny patch left over from where they piled it up last time...I think we've had 1/2 inch so far. They say we're supposed to get snow Tuesday night as well...we will see. I just checked the weather and yes we are supposed to get a little over an inch on Tuesday night. Sorry Sarah...but I'm loving that we aren't having any snow storms.

Wow that sure is a lot of snow and love the pictures they are beautiful! We also have had tons of snow here in South Dakota. It really hasn't stopped snowing for about 4 days now. Thankfully its not sticking that much because its windy but that's just making huge snow drifts lol. I am defiantly ready for some warmer weather.

Wow! 4 days of snowing! It's supposed to snow tonight into Wednesday night, it just started about an hour ago but we may be getting at least 20 more inches!

It's a mess outside- it's still snowing, you can't see our road anymore and it's usually a main busy road.

I called my work's weather hotline this morning only to hear the campus was open.... I called out. My managers already told us on Tuesday they wouldn't be in and that we shouldn't risk driving in the blizzard to just leave a message to call out.

Then later in the afternoon I decided to call again to see if the IRS had decided to close... no they just dismissed everyone at 1pm, when no one should be on the roads at all.

It's crazy looking outside, it's supposed to snow until midnight, so if there's work tomorrow I may have to go in a little later- if our road is plowed at all!

OMG! Thats just crazy,
I love snow, really i do, i would prefer there to be that much snow, then just a little bit (it looks prettier) However, not so much anymore since i would rather NOT shovel it or drive in it!!! lol

I know, a little its okay, but we got 20 inches in Dec, 28 inches last week and may get 24 inches before this blizzard is over, what a crazy winter!

Our power just surged... I hope it doesn't go out, a lot of people are without power....
