Dual Language, dual pets

Students in Mrs. Cabrerarsquo;s Dual language firstgrade class have the opportunity to learn academically in Spanish as well as English and to work together cooperatively. They were also the recipients of The Pets In The Classroom grant. All students have the opportunity to help take care of Tereza and Cereza, the fancy rats. By doing so they learn responsibility, build self esteem, and learn how to nurture.
